Structure & Decision Making

ESN operates on three levels: local, national, and international. The National Assembly functions as an umbrella structure that unites all local sections under one coordinated framework.

Local sections like ESN ADA Baku run day-to-day activities and support international students directly on campus.

National Assembly

The highest decision-making body of ESN Azerbaijan, coordinating all local sections and setting national goals.

ESN International connects national networks across Europe, providing the global framework for student mobility.

Key Functions & Responsibilities

 

The National Assembly fulfills five core responsibilities that guide ESN Azerbaijan's operations and growth.

Network Oversight
The National Assembly is responsible for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing student exchange at different levels.
Democratic Voting
The General Assembly decides by secret ballot and qualified majority on important matters, including the official admission of new sections.
Strategic Planning
Defining national goals and ensuring that all activities align with the mission of "Students helping students."
Statutory Compliance
Reviewing the Statute and Constitutive Act of candidate organizations to ensure they conform to ESN Azerbaijan's principles before becoming official sections.
National Coordination
Serving as the platform where the National Board and local sections share best practices and organize national-level initiatives.
