How to Become a Section
To become an official section, your organization must align with ESN's mission of "Students helping students." ESN Azerbaijan operates as an umbrella organization and opens membership registration twice a year.

Steps to Join
Application and Team Formation
Apply during the recruitment period or contact the National Board directly. Form a team of enthusiastic students, especially those who have already taken part in international mobility programs.
University Cooperation
Establish a relationship with your university's International Relations Office (IRO). This helps in contacting foreign students, obtaining a support letter, and securing a space for your office inside the university.
Consultation and Guidance
Join the Consultation Hours organized by ESN Azerbaijan. This is where you get guidance on your journey and learn how to operate legally and professionally under the ESN brand.
Meet the Requirements
Your organization's primary activity must be welcoming and favoring the integration of exchange students. You must focus on helping local students study abroad and assisting foreign students in getting settled in Azerbaijan.
Official Admission
After submitting the necessary documents (Statute, Constitutive Act, and University support letter), the group enters a trial period as a Candidate Section. Finally, the General Assembly votes on your admission.

Every prospective section must demonstrate a clear commitment to the core values of ESN before being admitted as an Ordinary Section.
